The Isnare network looks impressive at first sight. Though, some doubts emerge when you see notice in the Author's account which is more than one year old... saying that the system had some problems...
Nevertheless, at some point (may be a bit desperate) I bought a paid status and started to publish:

Squidoo further notes

As far as Squidoo is concerned: they don't allow to transfer pagerank by writing comments to other articles (lenses). It is a pity. It would be a nice way. I am still not clear how to get PR to your lenses. There is, however, a good news: after reaching a certain level (11) you can have so called Featured Lenses at the bottom of your article where you can list all your previous articles. Good to know.

Found a new resource, Israeli Triond.com, and published an article about hotels in Amsterdam, but so far no luck in even receiving their verification email. Will wait and see what happens... Their site says that the articles are also published on a number of affiliate resources.

Squidoo is a nice place to publish

I was pleasantly surprised to find the great mechanisms at Squidoo allowing to publish your so called 'lens'. As my major interest is hotel promotion, I published several hotel and travel related articles with ease. They have well developed tools allowing to quickly add pages, photos of hotels, etc.

This is a nice tool, I am only a bit worried that it does not get indexed too quickly as compared to others.
